wonderful experience

i booked a marvellous room and it had everything i needed. it was lovely and clean. the room included a dyson hairdryer and wonderful hand washes to use. breakfast was fresh with a lovely selection to order from. the atmosphere was very relaxed. it gave a real chilled vibe to our getaway

I found the staff very friendly. the location and grounds were great (i especially liked the walk around the manor). the breakfast was very nice and plentiful. complimentary ice cream and brownies were a great touch. I liked that.
The room i stayed in had no air conditioning despite being told it would. the bedroom had an loud portable air conditioning unit. It wasn't very efficient. the garden had no privacy at all and was in full view of the pool area.

the room showed wear with rips and stains on the furniture it looked uncared for the hot tub wasn't private as it faced the spa area noise from foot traffic was constant the room above sounded like a herd was moving the food seemed confused and not well executed

Wonderful Countryside Retreat

I found the staff attentive and always ready to help. Ian, in particular, ensured we had everything we needed . He even assisted me in selecting fresh flowers from the hotel grounds with the florist. Tiffany and the bar staff were also very cute and ensured everything was perfect. The staff texted us after check-in, a service I found so convenient for any needs or questions we had.
The hotel is located next to the a36 and the road noise was noticeable. While not overwhelming, it was audible and could be bothersome for some guests. I think more hedging and fencing might help reduce the sound levels, especially in bedrooms closer to the road.

Breakfast offered fresh food and a lovely selection from the menu. The relaxed atmosphere added to the chilled vibe for our couples getaway. I appreciated the attentiveness of the staff in the dining area.

My husband used the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. He reported them to be lovely. We did not use the pool or have spa treatments during this visit. I noted the hotel is dog-friendly with many guests accompanied by their furry friends.

Our marvellous room provided everything we needed. It was lovely, clean, and bright with nice touches, such as a dyson hairdryer. Wonderful hand washes were available for use.
